Love

As we enter the week before Easter, I found the following quote most appropriate :

Lord, grant that I might not so much seek to be loved as to love.
– St. Francis of Assisi

Sunday night’s message was on love, the love Jesus had for us and that we should have today for all others. Our pastor explained how in the precious hours before His death, Christ spoke to His disciples about love as recorded in the Gospel of John, the 14 and 15 chapters mainly.

Take time out this week to read those, and maybe a few more, chapters of John. Reflect on the perfect love Jesus has for us and how we could each love another more like He loves us. Then put legs on that love and invite some folks out to Easter service to celebrate that love with you.

John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
